Test Procedures

The following procedures are intended as a general guide and merely summarise the generally accepted methods described in the relevant British Standards. They should not to be followed in isolation or without reference to the full test specification stipulated by the pipe manufacturer and/or the client.

In any applications involving stoppers being subjected to significant back pressures, it is imperative that they are secured in place by means of a suitable strutting or bracing arrangement.
