Immerisble pumps are particularly suited to dry pit applications using a screw centrifugal impeller and immersible motors. These pumps are designed to create space in areas with restricted access. They are powered using electricity which has the benefits of being clean and affordable way to transfer liquids. Drainer submersibles range in size from as small as 50mm (2”) discharge all the way up to 300mm (12”) discharge with larger sizes available but uncommon in everyday use. The pumps come in varied motor ratings; however, the size of the physical pump does not change with power range starting as little as 0.75kw up to 55kw.
