Download Multibox Installation Instructions (654kb)
The Multi-box has been developed as a direct alternative to the traditional type of trench box; the latter using threaded spindles as the width adjustment mechanism. Width adjustment on multi-boxes is achieved by telescopic sliding box sections with incremental pinhole settings.

Download Trench Box Installation Instructions (692kb)
There are four models of Trench Box covered in these instructions to cater for a wide variety of trench depths, pipe diameters and ground conditions. Each box can be installed quickly and without the need for an operative to enter the unsupported excavation.
-
Download Manhole Box Installation Instructions (353kb)
Manhole boxes are similar to trench boxes in their basic function, however they incorporate integral end return panels thus providing additional ground support making them ideal for installing precast manhole rings in trench runs as an alternative to using sheets and frames.
-
Download Drag Box Installation Instructions (260kb)
Two basic types of box are available employing either rigid or pinned (adjustable) struts. Boxes using pinned struts must not be dragged by the struts. High clearance or “hog-back” struts are available on some rigid strut models to enable larger pipes or culverts to be installed.

Download Backhoe Box Installation Instructions (163kb)
The Backhoe Box range has been developed to meet the needs of the contractor when using smaller 180° backhoe or rubber tyred excavator. With minimum weights of 645kg for the trench version, and 960kg for the 2.5m manhole version, most small excavators can handle these boxes.

Download Laddersafe Installation Instructions (317kb)
Laddersafe is a modular access system to trenches specifically designed
for use with the Groundforce range of trench boxes. The system

Download Rolling Strut Box Installation Instructions (439kb)
The Rolling Strut Trench Box differs from a conventional fixed strut position trench box in that the rolling struts enable both plates in the system to move independently of each other during installation and removal.
-
Download Rolling Struct Silde Rail Installation Instructions (608kb)
The Rolling Strut system provides greater flexibility for the positioning of the struts to facilitate installation of large diameter pipes, box culvert or long pipes within the excavation.
Trenches varying in width from 2.05m to 12.0m can be achieved with a variety of bolted extensions, depths up to 9.0m can be achieved, for further details please contact Groundforce Technical Services Department.
