Installation
Gravshore Grave Support System Units are delivered flat packed and can be quickly assembled or dismantled at any time by the user, making the Gravshore unit convenient for storing or transporting. The cylinders are simply located into the panels using pins and retaining clips, no special tools are required.
THE ASSEMBLED GRAVSHORE UNIT CAN BE INSTALLED INTO THE GRAVE IN 4 EASY STAGES:-
- Simply connect the two way bridle to each cylinder and the single branch of the bridle to the hydraulic pump hose. Note.The pump should be filled with shoring fluid as per the instructions supplied.
- Lower the Gravshore unit into the excavated grave using the lifting slings.
- Pump out the hydraulic cylinders to expand the panels against the sides of the grave. Pressurise to approximately 500 psi.
- Remove the bridle from the cylinders with the release tool, which is included in the installation kit, and your Gravshore is in place, providing you with a safe working area.
It is recommended that a minimum of two Gravshore Units are installed per grave. Additional units may be required in poor ground conditions. Please consult the Gravshore Customer Service Department for advice.
