The Edinburgh show marked the first time that all Groundforce divisions,Shorco, Easiform, Piletec, Stopper Specialists and Survey Technology exhibited together, offering visitors the chance to view their full range of services.
New products on display included Easiform’s Steel Soldiers - versatile formwork and support beams for shoring and propping applications, and the Survey Technology division’s Sokkia SRX Robotic Total Station, and VRS GPS 2700 ISX, an advanced GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) receiver.
Harrogate-based Groundforce, part of Vp plc, have supplied Trench Shoring Equipment, Piling Equipment, Pipe Pressure Testing Equipment and Surveying Instrumentation to the construction industry in the UK and Ireland for over twenty years, with involvement in many prestigious projects, including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, Wembley Stadium, and the 2012 Olympics.
Irish links were strengthened last year by the acquisition of Underground Safety Services Ltd. and Pipe Testing Accessories Ltd.
