Groundforce Shorco play safe with shoring equipment

Leading ground support specialist Groundforce Shorco continue to provide innovative solutions to the construction and utility industries via the development of a range of handrails to complement their extensive range of proprietary trench support systems.

The introduction of the new safety handrail range follows the successful launch of the integrated trench box ladder access system LadderSafe earlier in the year.

Groundforce Shorco’s portfolio of safety products has been developed as a result of an increased focus on safe working practises within the construction industry. In designing the range of safety rails and ladders suitable for use with all Groundforce Shorco trench and manhole box systems, the company has ensured that a safe excavation environment can always be achieved both above and below the ground.

Technical Manager Tony Gould commented: ”Our new integrated handrail systems will greatly improve safety in and around trenches by providing a secure barrier to the edge of the trench. Installation to our trench box systems is very quick and simple which helps reduce non-productive time on site. It will also help contractors to comply with the new Work at Height regulations which were introduced last year.”
