Groundforce Appoints New Business Development Director

Nick Davies, 37, has 16 years sales experience in the construction/industrial market and will use this knowledge to develop business strategies to maximise growth opportunities within three key divisions of the Vp plc group.

Previously Commercial Director of a large equipment rental firm, Nick will concentrate on Goundforce’s Easiform, Stopper Specialists and Export subsidiaries.

He will implement a five-year business development strategy for Stopper Specialists, work with and expand Easiform’s customer base, and lead Groundforce’s expansion into Europe, with the opening of its first European depot.

With plans to be a major supplier to key contractors in the South of England in the run up to the 2012 Oympics, Nick’s appointment comes during an especially exciting time for Groundforce, which has made a number of enhancements to its marketing strategy and customer database to further strengthen the brand and improve its proposition.
