A New Acquisition for Groundforce

Specialist construction equipment provider Groundforce, part of Vp plc continues to expand its offering with the announcement that they have acquired entire issued share capital of, Kent based, Harbray (Plant Hire) Ltd for £0.9m including £0.3m of free cash.

Harbray, have supplied high pressure pipeline testing equipment for more than 34 years and will be incorporated into Groundforce, who already are the UK’s leading supplier of pipe testing products to the construction, civil engineering and utility sectors.

An increased portfolio of products and expertise, combined with a larger geographical presence will enable Groundforce to meet its customers’ wide ranging requirements and enhance response times nationally.

The acquisition not only augments our fleet but the depth of knowledge held in the business, enhances our ability to supply the full range of pipeline testing products to the entire customer base.”

The combined range of products and services will be available for hire and sale from all depots across the UK and Ireland. Harbray will continue to trade under their existing name during the early integration period.
